In 1992 I turned from screenplays to writing novels,  I began with a thriller, "Reprisal" and followed this with two other thrillers, "Without Warning" and "Two Sides of a Triangle".    Then I switched to historical novels.   "A Bitter Harvest", "The Currency Lads" and "Against The Tide" were all set in Australia, at different periods in the past.   After that came "Land of Dreams", a story that took place in Japan and Australia during the Second World War.

My latest books (published by Penguin) are featured below and described in more detail in their own sections.

Belle Carson was a good looker, the best looker for miles-around; even those who didn't like her (which included most of the women in town and quite a few of the men) had to admit that.
